Abano Terme

Abano Terme is one of the most important and ancient spas in Europe, located in the province of Padua, in the Veneto region.

Main Features

Abano Terme is internationally renowned for its mud therapy treatments and its hyperthermal, salso-bromo-iodine-rich thermal waters.

Thermal Waters: They flow at a temperature of approximately 87°C and are rich in mineral salts (bromine and iodine), used for baths, inhalations, and, above all, for the maturation of mud.

Thermal Mud: It is applied at approximately 42° C and is considered a natural medicine, thanks to the long maturation process (about 60 days) in special tanks in contact with thermal water and air, which develops its anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties, particularly for rheumatic and orthopedic conditions.

More Than Spas

In addition to hotels and spas, the town offers:

Urban Thermal Park: A vast green space surrounding the city center.

Monument to Pietro d'Abano: Dedicated to the famous medieval physician and philosopher, a native of the town.

Location: The town is located at the foot of the Euganean Hills, offering hiking and food and wine tours amidst a picturesque hilly landscape.

It is an ideal destination for those seeking a blend of wellness, health, and tranquility.
